1. Advised to follow the flow-chart worked out by the faculty.

2. Once a convener is fixed for a particular year he should start collecting funds. That is why a five year advance information is specially helpful.

3. Apply to such agencies who are willing to support the programme financially.

4. Souvenir printing will be the responsibility of the local convener.

5. Decent and comfortable accomodation is to be provided free of charge for the faculty members so that may all stay together for informal get-togehter and discussions.

6. Concessioned Air fare will be provided to all faculty members, office-bearers.

7. As regards accommodation for the registrants there are two options:

(a) The local convener will arrange for relatively inexpensive accommodation in which the registrants can stay at their own expense or alternatively the convener may charge a lumpsum mount to cover the expenses on boarding & lodging thereby relieving the registrants of finding suitable accommodation. The registrants will stay as per the accommodation arranged by the convener.

(b) Faculty to stay together for informal discussion among themselves and also available to the registants for consultation beyond the hours of the printed programme. Hotel can be persuaded to give good college.

8. Arrangements for lunch, tea and coffee. There are two options. For arrangements of mid-morning tea, lunch, afternoon coffee etc. Either the convenor may take the responsibility for all this arrangements or he may arrange to set up different pay stalls of professional caterers where the registants can choose whatever they wish to have and pay for the same.

9. The whole programme including discussion, case conference etc. is to be recorded and DVD to be prepared

10. The inauguration function should not exceed more then half an hour Chief guest is usually a known scientist or academician.

11. Valedictory function is also short where the attendence certificates are given to the registrants.

12. It has been decided by the Board of Trustess of the Foundation that lectures delivered during the instructional course will be published in a standard format. It will be a centralised publication with member-secretary of the foundation as its editor. The publication will be available on a no-loss no-profit basis to each of the registrants during the course, but for others a standard price will be fixed by the Trustees. The book is made available to the delegates and the cost is payable along with registration fee.

13. Audited accounts are to be submitted to the foundation after the course. Out of the savings, 80% will have to be sent to the foundation and 20% can be retained by the local organisers.

14. Arrangement for publicity through Press, A.I.R and T.V is desirable. A press interview may be arranged in which the Chairman and the faculty member will participate.

15. A group photograph may be arranged on the second day So their individual prints may be purchased by the pariticipants before the depart.

16. An album is prepared of the press cuttings and photographs. It is handed over to the foundation for records.

17. The venue of the conference has to be carefully chosen. Depending on weather conditions it should preferably be air- conditioned with good acoustics. There should be sufficient places and rooms available for conducting demonstrations etc. A pre-view room with audio-visual aids for the speakers is an essential requirement at the place of conference.

19. if possible it is desireable to arrange exhibitions – both scientific nd commercial.

20. The number of participants are limited at the discretion of Board of Trusteen so that the participants and faculty members can have more opportunity for discussions and dialogue.

21. The foundation provides the names and addresses of Orthopaedic surgeons who have attended previous courses and all of them are to be notified, as many of them have been attending the course from year to year.

22. State Chapter Secretaries of adjoining states are to be contacted to provide list of their members.

23. The registration fee is kept at a minimum to enable young surgeons to participate.

25. National level observers may also invited to evaluate the course and offer suggestions for the improvement of the course.
